Physiotherapist and PhD Candidate

Jennifer is a physiotherapist and PhD (candidate) in Rehabilitation Science at the University of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Her current areas of interest are to explore ways to increase accessibility of rehabilitation for all. She is a part-time clinical instructor in the physiotherapy program at the University of Ottawa, where she focuses on clinical neurology. As a clinician, she mostly focuses on the rehabilitation of individuals post traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury. She is a certified NDT therapist and has completed advance vestibular courses and NVPT from the Padula Institute of Vision. She has worked as a physiotherapist for Humanity and Inclusion, a humanitarian aid organization and continues to pursue her global health passion as the knowledge translation representative of the global health division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
