Neuropsychology Postdoctoral Fellow
Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai
New York, New York
Eric Watson, PhD, is currently in postdoctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology and rehabilitation research within the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Watson has extensive training in neuropsychological assessment and rehabilitation both clinically and in research. He has completed several practicum experiences with neurologically and medically complex individuals with a variety of diverse presenting concern. Additionally, Dr. Watson’s prior work experience has included working as a psychometrist, cognitive remediation therapist, and clinical research coordinator. His clinical and research interest include aging, cognitive rehabilitation, behavioral sleep medicine, applied electroencephalography, and health interventions for cognitively impaired populations (e.g., medication adherence, weight management, and chronic pain). Highly valuing the integration of science and practice, he pursued postdoctoral training at Mount Sinai to have the opportunity to continue developing his clinical and research interests, as he ultimately hopes to obtain board certification in clinical neuropsychology and obtain a position within an academically affiliated medical center.
