Cindy Seiger, PT, PhD, GCS, CEEAA is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physical & Occupational Therapy at Idaho State University. She teaches the neurological rehabilitation and geriatric management courses. She obtained her Geriatric Specialty Certification in 2013 and is a Certified Exercise Expert for the Aging Adult. Dr. Seiger's clinical and research activities focus on falls and balance in the elderly population, orthopedic rehabilitation, and behavior change in physical therapy. She is a proponent of community service learning and is a Master Trainer for the Fit & Fall Proof(TM) program. Cindy has practiced for 20 years in multiple physical therapy clinical settings with focuses in geriatrics and orthopedics with an emphasis on manual therapy. Her research interests include falls and balance in the elderly population, orthopedic rehabilitation, and behavior change in physical therapy.
