Senior Research Assistant
West Orange, New Jersey
I am a doctoral student in sociology at Rutgers University and Senior Research Assistant at Kessler Foundation. My doctoral training has provided me with expertise in using quantitative research methods to study health as a social phenomenon. My research has focused on the socio-environmental factors that contribute to health disparities in the United States. Through my work as a research assistant throughout my graduate career, I have gained experience in applied research design and primary data collection with medically underserved populations. Most recently, in my role at Kessler Foundation, I am responsible for community outreach, survey development, and primary data collection for research projects on the community-level predictors of disability in adults with spinal cord injuries.
