Dr. Leann Kerr is an assistant professor at Bellarmine University in Louisville KY. Her primary teaching responsibilities are in Pediatrics, Psychosocial Aspects of Health and Disability, Research II, Pediatric Service Learning Clinic, Neuroscience, and Neurological Rehabilitation for the Adult Patient. Her research interests are in aspects that influence functional gait independence post neurological insult across the life span. This includes fall prevention through wellness programs, cognitive and behavioral modification, and technology utilization for intervention. She is a member of ACRM and participates on the pediatric leadership board. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and contributes to the pediatric, Neurology, and education sections. She is on the APTA pediatric research leadership board.
