Head and neck cancer patients present with multiple symptoms and functional impairments that can impact negatively their quality of life. This can include decreased range of motion of the head and neck, pain, changes in voice and communication, dysphagia, etc.
Lymphedema of the Head and Neck can be under recognized and under diagnosed and can be a contributing factor in functional limitations, negative impact on quality of life and self image. In our clinical model we include a patient centered multidisciplinary care including research, early identification, education and treatment.
