Assistant Professor, Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine
Ann Arbor, Michigan – United States
I am pleased to offer my personal expertise in the Early Diagnosis and Management of Cerebral Palsy Course. I am an assistant professor at University of Michigan and a pediatric rehabilitation medicine clinician at Michigan Medicine. My clinic responsibilities include a weekly, multi-disciplinary NICU follow up clinic designed to detect neurodevelopmental impairments. My research interests include the early diagnosis of cerebral palsy and targeted therapeutic interventions in infancy. I have worked with this population at Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago as well as Mott Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor. Additionally, I have pursued extra training in the use of the Hammersmith Infant Neurological Examination through the Cerebral Palsy Foundation. I believe my experiences well suit me to participate in this course. .
