Dr. Thomas F. Bergquist is associate professor of psychology in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science. He is board certified in clinical neuropsychology. After completing his doctoral degree at UAB, he did his internship in clinical psychology at the Oklahoma University Health Science Center, and completed his fellowship in clinical neuropsychology at the Mayo Clinic. He has given hundreds of regional, national and international presentations and authored or co-authored over 30 journal publications and six book chapters. He was awarded a lifetime achievement award by the Brain Injury Interdisciplinary Special Interest Group (BI-ISIG) of the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine (ACRM) in 2011. He was recently elected as chair elect of the BI-ISIG in 2018. He was elected as a fellow of ACRM in 2018 in recognition of his contributions to the field of rehabilitation medicine. He is a co-investigator in the Mayo Clinic Traumatic Brain Injury Model System Center funded by the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR).
