Catherine Wiseman-Hakes Ph.D., is a clinical neuroscientist and speech-language pathologist. She is a researcher with the University of Toronto and the Hull Ellis Concussion and Research Clinic at UHN Toronto Rehabilitation Institute, and Assistant Professor (clinical adjunct) McMaster University School of Rehabilitation Sciences (Hamilton Ontario, Canada). Her program of research in traumatic brain injury explores a) the mechanism and impact of alterations in sleep and wakefulness in recovery from traumatic brain injury, and b) the cognitive-communication and social communication sequelae of TBI in children and adults.
