Dr. Susan Murphy ScD, OTR/L is an Associate Professor in the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department, a Research Associate Professor at the University of Michigan’s Institute of Gerontology, and a Research Health Science Specialist at the VA Ann Arbor Health Care System, GRECC. Her research focuses on developing and testing rehabilitation and behavioral interventions to reduce fatigue and increase physical activity among adults with osteoarthritis and other chronic pain conditions. Dr. Murphy has been the recipient of various grants through NIH, the VA, and the Rheumatology Research Foundation. She currently serves as the Director of Clinical Trials in the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department at the University of Michigan and as co-Director of the Behavior, Function, and Pain Clinical Trial Support Unit at the University of Michigan Medical School.
