LCDR Lynita Mullins is an active-duty Navy physician who graduated from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her Transitional Internship at the National Naval Medical Center (NNMC) in Bethesda and her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Board certified in PM&R and also a certified medical acupuncturist with more than two years of training through the Harvard International Structural Acupuncture Course for Physicians. Currently, she is a staff physician at NMCSD, Department Head for PM&R/C5, C5 TBI Medical Director, NMCSD DVBIC Site Director, Assistant Professor with the Uniformed Services University, and serves as the Command Acupuncture Subject Matter Expert.
