Barry Gordon, M.D., Ph.D., is a behavioral neurologist and cognitive neuroscientist whose work focuses on identifying and implementing better methods for improving language, memory, thinking skills, and learning in individuals with autism, amnesia, Alzheimer’s disease, and other acquired and developmental brain conditions. Dr. Gordon is the inaugural holder of the Therapeutic Cognitive Neuroscience endowed professorship, and Professor of Neurology with a Joint Appointment in Cognitive Science, at Johns Hopkins Medicine. He was founder of the Cognitive Neurology/Neuropsychology group and the Memory Clinic at Johns Hopkins, and also a Founding Member of Johns Hopkins'' Mind/Brain Institute. He is currently also a member of the Steering Committee of Hopkins’ Science of Learning Institute.
