Writing requires multiple cognitive-linguistic processes often disrupted by traumatic brain injury. Such disruptions result in persistent writing difficulties and negatively affect successful performance of post-injury academic, vocational, and social activities. This seminar addresses this neglected area of clinical practice by providing: (a) an overview of post-injury writing experiences, changes, and challenges; and (b) suggestions for intervention planning and compensatory strategy training.
