Using an applicatoin based solutoin in an acute rehablitaiotn setting can improve outcomes and understanding for pateints and families. The presentation will discuss the challenges identified, the method ovf using the applicatoin for adressing the need, and the outcomes that were found avter implimentation. Asli there will be a discussion of the practical issues of implimentation, cost, and training of both staff and pateints and caregivers. Attendiees will see that using new application based solutions can leverage the power inherent in the smart devices that most patinets and families carry and can be an adjuct that improves patient care.
