Technology (e.g. robotics, assistive technology, mHealth)
Despite the evolution of E-Health, mHealth, and emerging role of wearable and mobile technology in healthcare platforms, there are claims that wearable technology may not precisely quantify patients' health. In this older adult study, wearable technology, equipped with refined algorithms, can result in better understanding of patients and hopefully pave the way in developing intervention alerts and approaches. We will discuss how Sensing At-Risk Population - SARP features provide a clearer storyline of daily activity patterns by merging indoor localization with physical activities. SARP system incorporated into mHealth technology platforms and can provide a more objective assessment of frail population.
