With focus on the physical therapy management of patients with contraversive pushing in inpatient rehabilitation, attendees can expect to learn the current evidence and its application. Participants will be guided through a thorough literature review, application of the most appropriate outcome measure and the design and implementation of an evidenced-based protocol for treatment. Information will be provided about the to-date results of this protocol as well as direction for future research. Although the focus will be place on physical therapy and contraversive pushing, the process for implementation and protocol design can be generalized to a variety of disciplines and settings.
