This symposium includes caregiving among those caring for individuals with stroke, dementia, and multiple sclerosis. The first presentation will describe a qualitative study that explores carepartners’ perceptions and experiences on evaluating a novel, web-based educational intervention using constraint induced therapy for stroke survivors. The second presentation will describe the caregiving needs among those caring for individuals with cognitive impairments and dementia compared to those without cognitive impairment. The third presentation will describe the development and psychometric properties of a novel scale—the post-traumatic growth scale that measures the positive effects of caregiving, especially the experience of growth among caregivers.
