This presentation will describe the secondary analysis of the Well Elderly II study (a randomized cross-over design).  The purpose of this study was to assess the association between rehabilitation intervention and cortisol levels. Variables associated with cortisol will be described. Finally, a description of how measurement of cortisol can be integrated into the field of rehabilitation will be provided.

Learning Objectives:

• Upon completion, participants will be able to state the association between rehabilitation treatment and cortisol levels in the Well Elderly 2 population.
• Upon completion, participants will be able to list the significant variables that were correlated with post-test cortisol.
• Upon completion, participants will be able to describe how measurement of cortisol can be integrated into the field of rehabilitation.
