Michael Fraas is an Associate Professor in Communication Sciences and Disorders. He received is Ph.D. from the University of Cincinnati in Ohio. Dr. Fraas has 20 years of clinical and research experience. His research has focused on the areas of cognitive-motor interference following stroke, cognitive rehabilitation, concussion in sport, and narrative medicine based approaches for meeting the needs of adults with acquired brain injury. Dr. Fraas is a member of the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine, and is actively involved in several task forces conducting evidence-based reviews of treatments for traumatic brain injury and stroke.
