Andrew Dennison is the medical director of acquired brain injury rehabilitation at Shepherd Center in Atlanta, GA. He also serves as a commissioner and in the current secretary of the Georgia Traumatic Brain and Spinal Cord Injury Trust Fund Commission. His areas of interest include acute inpatient rehabilitation for neurologic injury with a focus on management of medical comorbidities and complications, musculoskeletal and peripheral neurological impairments, spasticity, disorders of consciousness, and neuropharmacology. He has a particular interest in developing programs that systematically provide not only the established evidence-informed treatments and management, but that also continue to evaluate new and emerging techniques and technologies to implement in a timely appropriate manner.
