Heather DeLine, MSW, LSW received her Master of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania, with a concentration in clinical practice. She has worked as the social worker in the Pediatric Stroke Program at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia since 2014. Ms. DeLine coordinates with the interdisciplinary team to conduct psychosocial assessments and assist families in navigating their child's care. She provides coping support in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team from the moment of diagnosis throughout the entire continuum of care. Ms. DeLine also serves as one of the social work facilitators for CHOP Sibshops, a program focused on supporting siblings and caregivers of children with chronic medical or developmental disabilities. Within this role, Ms. DeLine co-facilitates a support group for parents of children with a wide range of diagnoses.
