Francisco C. N. da Silva, PT, MA, CCS is a Clinical Specialist at Rusk Rehabilitation at NYU Langone Health. He is board certified as a clinical specialist in Cardiovascular and Pulmonary from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. He has been practicing for over 25 years, in the both the acute care and outpatient services, treating patients with pulmonary conditions. He specializes in respiratory physical therapy, having extensive experience treating patients with Cystic Fibrosis, Bronchiectasis, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease; his main interests are secretion clearance, lung expansion, pulmonary rehabilitation, and patient education. He is currently the lead therapist in the outpatient Chest Physical Therapy unit at the Ambulatory Care Center part of the NYU Langone Health. He has been an Adjunct Faculty member at the NYU Department of Physical Therapy since 1998 teaching and mentoring students. He has presented several posters and platforms in US and Brazil and lectured at the International Symposium of Respiratory Physical Therapy and at the Federal University of Santa Maria in Brazil.
