Megan graduated from Marquette University, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 2010, with a BS in Exercise Science and Psychology Minor, then obtaining a MS in Occupational Therapy from Indiana University, in Indianapolis, Indiana, in 2012. Megan has experience in a multitude of rehab settings, however it was while she was practicing primarily in outpatient in El Paso, TX in early 2017 that she obtained her TPS Certification through ISPI under EIM. She relocated to Boise, ID in Fall of 2017 and began working for St. Luke’s Health System’s inpatient rehab hospital, where now in addition to providing pain neuroscience education one on one to patients, she is providing guidance towards comprehensively integrating non-pharmacological pain treatment for all patients via an inter-disciplinary perspective. Megan has presented both individually and in groups on pain neuroscience education topics at both the state and national level, and is currently completing her Pain Sciences Fellowship through ISPI. She has also been interviewed for an episode of the podcast, “Pain Reframed”, entitled “Non-Pharmacological Pain Management is the FIRST Response.”
