Jennifer is a medical and educational social worker with experience in oncology, traumatic brain injury, and special needs populations. She earned her Master's degree from Bryn Mawr Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research and worked extensively with cancer patients, both pediatric and adult, and their families. She became certified as a Clinical Trials Educator by the National Institutes of Health and spoke with patients, families, and community groups about the process of being involved in clinical trials. Jennifer transitioned to education, working as a counselor in a special education school where many students had neurological and/or genetic disorders. Returning to medical social work, she now works as a research coordinator and study interventionist for the BRITE study at Moss Rehabilitation Research Institute in Philadelphia.
