Katherine Power was born and raised on the Jersey Shore. She graduated from College of the Holy Cross in Worcester Massachusetts during which she spent a year studying abroad at University of Melbourne in Australia. She attended a post-baccalaureate program at University of Pennsylvania before heading to St. George's University for medical school. After graduation she completed an intern year in internal medicine at Jersey Shore University Hospital where she was born. Next she completed a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx. This was followed by a fellowship in Cancer Rehabilitation at MedStar National Rehabilitation Hospital where she went on to work as an attending in July 2018. She has co-authored a chapter in Dr. Stubblefield's Cancer Rehabilitation text on Aromatase Inhibitor Induced Musculoskeletal Systems and led a skills lab focused on Breast Cancer Rehabilitation Procedures in 2018. She currently lives in DC and is eager to continue working in Cancer Rehab.
