Kyle Reid is a physical therapist at the Intrepid Spirit TBI Clinic for United States Army on Fort Hood, Tx. Kyle graduated from University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelors in Administration of Justice with concentration of Forensics in 2004. He then went on to become a commissioned officer in the United States Marine Corps where he served two combat tours of duty in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. After his active service in the Marines he went on to obtain his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University in 2014.
Kyle has a clinical background working with complex neurological diagnoses. He worked in neurologic rehabilitation hospital on the stroke and TBI team at TIRR Memorial Hermann in Houston, Tx. Then in an out-patient neurologic setting with focus on mTBI and vestibular therapy at Good Shepherd Rehab in Allentown, Pa. He has completed Vestibular Rehabilitation: A Competency-Based Course from Emory University and the APTA. Currently He is working with active duty military personnel with focus on mTBI and vestibular impairments at Intrepid Spirit in Fort Hood, Tx.
Kyle is originally from Pennsylvania and has recently relocated to Temple, Tx with his wife and dog. He enjoys all forms of physical fitness including weight training, running and playing sports.
