Nicole D. DiPiro, PhD is a Post-Doctoral Scholar in the Center for Rehabilitation Research in Neurological Conditions at The Medical University of South Carolina. She received her BSEd in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of Georgia, MS in Exercise Science with emphasis in Applied Physiology from The University of South Carolina, and her PhD in Health and Rehabilitation Science from The Medical University of South Carolina. As a Rehabilitation Researcher and Exercise Physiologist, her research has focused on optimizing health and rehabilitation outcomes in individuals with chronic SCI and improving ambulation through exercise intervention. Her research has focused on health conditions and outcomes, quality of life, longevity, and mortality. She has authored or co-authored 20 peer-reviewed publications.
