Tovah Kasdin, JD, is the director of the ElderSAFE™ Center, an award-winning program of Charles E. Smith Life Communities in Rockville, MD, which provides safe temporary shelter, education and advocacy on behalf of abused and neglected older adults. Ms. Kasdin's experience includes: Assistant State’s Attorney, Montgomery County, Maryland; non-profit manager; and consultant to the World Bank Group's Domestic Abuse Prevention Program. She has testified on domestic violence and elder abuse policy and is a frequent trainer and conference speaker. Ms. Kasdin is a member of Leadership Montgomery's Core Class of 2019; Board of Directors of the Legal Resource Center on Violence Against Women; Steering Committee of the Maryland Health Care Coalition Against Domestic Violence; and is a past president and member of the Board of Directors of the Maryland Network Against Domestic Violence. Ms. Kasdin received her BA from Trinity College, Hartford, CT and her JD from the University of Connecticut School of Law.
