Don’t be completely distracted by the patient driven payment model (PDPM); CMS-mandated programs continue to evolve and need your attention. Leadership need to keep its eye on these programs, which have a significant impact on your relationship with ACOs, ISNPs , preferred provider networks, etc. In FY 2020, Requirements of Participation Phase 3 go live; Five Star will begin to digest the results of the new survey process and data from 2018 that is no longer frozen, along with the impact of PBJ data in your staffing metrics, VBP and NEW metrics added to the QRP program.
