Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) continue to grow, emerging as one of the more widely implemented value-based payment models. In December 2018, CMS finalized Pathways to Success, overhauling the Medicare Shared Savings Program with a more aggressive glide path to assuming risk. As a result, ACOs are behaving much like Medicare Advantage. During this session, attendees will hear from Avalere Health about the new ACO regulatory environment and its effects on SNFs and AHCA resources as well as from the Burgess Square CEO about how to survive in this new environment.
