Dr. Tej Singh completed his Medical Degree from the Pritzker School of Medicine, The University of Chicago in 1993. While a medical student he was very involved in vascular biology research. Dr. Singh completed his general surgery and vascular surgery residency at Stanford University Hospital in 2002. Dr. Singh is presently a vascular surgeon at El Camino Hospital and the Palo Alto Medical Foundation in Mountain View, CA.
Based on his early vascular adaptation research and understanding of arterial and vein adaptation to flow, Dr. Singh was awarded intellectual property in 2008 for external compression devices to help veins enlarge with pneumatic compression. He is presently the CEO, President of Fist Assist Devices, LLC based out of Los Altos Hills, CA which has a seasoned team of business, legal and product design experts to help further develop the AV fistula maturation market with external, cost-effective devices for high patient satisfaction.
