The vascular access procedure lab is a mixed simulation and cadaveric hands on opportunity. This pre-conference allows attendees to review, insert and discuss invasive procedures on cadaveric specimens while sharpening their insertion skills. Each attendee will rotate through a set of dynamic stations to increase procedural confidence and awareness. These stations allow clinicians to performs the following: RaCeVA and RaPeVA ultrasound assessment, insertion of acute and long term central venous catheters, perform ultrasound guided needling techniques for both peripheral and acute catheters, insertion and manage of interosseous access followed by an anatomic cadaveric review of vascular pathways.
