ANTT is the de facto international standard for aseptic technique, now used in over 30 countries variously, and increasingly mandated by Governments nationally. Designed for all settings from surgery to community care, ANTT has particular advantage in intravenous access and the ongoing maintenance of central and peripheral IV devices. The originator for ANTT, Stephen Rowley from the UK, is mainly here to have a break from his four children, but will be explaining the ANTT Practice Framework, its application in practice and how it is widely used to improve patient safety and help reduce healthcare associated infection.
