This is a 2-part review course for the VA-BC Certification Exam. The speakers are members of the 2019 task force responsible for the 3rd edition of the AVA Study Guide for Vascular Access Certification. In this review, attendees will progress systematically through all of the fundamental sections of the exam blue print sections. Covered topics include device selection and insertion, complication management and mitigation, pediatric considerations, patient advocacy, and legal/ethical considerations. With a multidisciplinary approach, current evidence-based practice principals will be presented to attendees looking to achieve their goal of passing the VA-BC certification exam.
