Hector has over 25 years of experience in the Energy Efficiency, Material Science and Consumer Electronics fields, working for large and small firms such Mobil Oil, Raychem Corp, Tyco International, PointVerde and General Synfuels International. During his almost 30 year career, Hector has built and expanded business while decreasing and costs through his roles as International Operations Management, Project Management, Strategic Product Management and sourcing. Over the past two decades Hector has develop businesses mostly through leading International sales teams with up to 50 direct reports.
In the past 7 years as VP of Business Development Giner Inc and Giner ELX he has been in charge of commercializing all of Giner’s Technologies, from Fuel Cells and Electrolyzers for Mobility (P2M), Energy Storage (P2P) and Industrial (P2X) markets, In addition he also was the architect of building to commercial stage and later selling off Giner’s Transdermal Alcohol Sensors (EtOH FCs) technology for $25M+, in addition to this he also worked on other special projects in Aerospace for NASA and Silicon Valley companies providing them with unitized solutions or RFCs. Hector holds an MBA from Hartford University Business School in Paris, a graduate degree in International Finance from UC Berkeley, and a BSc in Chemical Engineering from UIA Universidad Ibero-Americana, Mexico City. He is also fluent in 4 languages.
