Linda Detterman has been affiliated with ICPSR at the University of Michigan for over 15 years. In this role, she regularly generates awareness and trains researchers, librarians, and graduate students on the benefits to research scientists and society of depositing, curating, and sharing digital research data. She conducts numerous research data-related workshops each year at various professional association meetings and on the campuses of various universities and research institutions. She is an ardent supporter of the use of real quantitative data in the classroom and promoter of ICPSR's Mission: ICPSR advances and expands social and behavioral research, acting as a global leader in data stewardship and providing rich data resources and responsive educational opportunities for present and future generations.
