MHBC has been delivering a full range of land use planning services to public and private sector clients since 1973. The firm is headquartered in Kitchener, Ontario (Canada), and has five other offices located within Southern Ontario (Barrie, Vaughan, London, Kingston and Burlington). With over 90 employees, MHBC offers services in urban design, cultural heritage planning, urban and regional planning, strategic planning, and conflict resolution.
MHBC has extensive knowledge of cultural heritage issues in Ontario, and our experience includes more than 20 heritage conservation district studies, over two dozen National Historic Sites, and over forty provincially significant sites. Our Cultural Heritage Division is led by Dan Currie (Partner), and includes both Heritage Planners Nicholas Bogaert (CAHP Member), Vanessa Hicks (CAHP Member), Evan Sugden (CAHP Mamber) and Rachel Redshaw, as well as Heritage Landscape Architects James Lockhart (CAHP Member) and Nina Pulver.
