Dr. Manu Boller graduated from veterinary school at the University of Zurich, Switzerland in 1997. He practiced both large and small animal medicine and then completed a doctoral thesis and an anesthesia residency in Zurich. After completing a residency in veterinary ECC at the University of Pennsylvania, he undertook a translational research fellowship at Penn’s School of Medicine’s Institute for Translational Medicine and Therapeutics in the area of resuscitation science. He was a member of Penn’s Center for Resuscitation Science until 2012 where he investigated novel strategies to optimize CPR and post-cardiac arrest care. He then relocated with his family to Australia, where he is now a senior lecturer in small animal ECC at the Melbourne Veterinary School of The University of Melbourne. He serves as a member of various scientific committees, is co-chair of the RECOVER initiative and of the Australian SnakeMap project.
