Alexander Lyubechansky, MA, MLIS is Clinical Librarian and Assistant Professor at Savitt Medical Library, University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine. Alexander has been working with medical students, residents, fellows and faculty in Nevada for the last seven years, providing instruction and research consultations, and participating in Morning Reports and Clinical Rounds. He has designed and delivered a variety of continuing medical education courses, sessions and workshops on the topics of evidence-based medicine and information literacy, as well as continuing education courses for nurses. Alexander received his MLIS degree from the University of Western Ontario, and has over twenty -five years of experience working in academic and hospital libraries in the United States and Canada. Prior to his current position, he worked at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. In his free time, Alexander enjoys gardening and hiking in Red Rock Canyon, Nevada and in Zion National Park, Utah.
