Reina Engle-Stone is Assistant Professor at the Department of Nutrition and Institute for Global Nutrition at the University of California, Davis, USA. Her research focuses on maternal and child nutrition in low-income settings, with specific focus on micronutrient nutrition, food fortification, and dietary analysis and modeling. She also works closely with economists to assess and predict the cost-effectiveness of nutrition intervention programs. Dr. Engle-Stone holds a PhD in Nutritional Biology from UC Davis and a BA in Biological Sciences from Cornell University.
