Aviva completed her MSc at the University of British Columbia where she studied the efficacy of the Lucky Iron Fish. Upon completion, she worked at the Centre for Global Child Health on various projects related to adolescent nutrition and stunting. In addition, she worked as a consultant with SPRING Nutrition synthesizing data from the HEME working group on variability in hemoglobin measurement. Currently, she is at McGill University as a research trainee and as a student in the dietetics credentialing program.
