Senior Technical Advisor

Dr. Mourad Moursi, Ph.D., is currently a senior technical advisor at Intake - Center for Dietary Assessment at FHISolutions. He is providing technical assistance for the collection, analysis and use of dietary data in the context of large-scale national nutrition surveys, contributing to the development of metrics of diet quality in collaboration with Harvard and contributing to Intake's vision, strategy and fundraising effort. Before joining Intake, Mourad worked as a senior research fellow at HarvestPlus - IFPRI where he led dietary assessment activities and oversaw a portfolio of studies assessing the health and nutrition impact of biofortification in African and Asian countries. He also previously worked in Madagascar on the development and validation of indicators of child feeding and on monitoring and evaluation of child feeding programs in Vietnam and Burkina Faso. An Egyptian/French binational, Mourad received his Ph.D. in Epidemiology from the University of Paris 6 (France) and his MSc. in Public Health Nutrition from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (UK).
