Giulia Pastori is a PhD candidate in food systems for healthier diets at the Human Nutrition Department of Wageningen University and Research. Her main reach interest centers on relation between food environment and the quality of the diet in low- and middle-income countries. After completing her bachelor in Dietetics at Univerista' degli Studi di Milano, Italy, she obtained a master’s degree in Nutrition and Health at Wageningen University and Research, the Netherlands. For her PhD research project, she wishes to evaluate the quality of the diet and understand which are the determinants of fruit and vegetable consumption in Vietnam and Nigeria. Additionally, as PhD in this time and in an international context, she is also interested in investigating the effects of the current pandemic on food consumptions, nutrition and food systems.
