Dickens Onyango is a Kenyan medical doctor with extensive research expertise in public health. He has a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from the University of Nairobi coupled with a Master of Science degree in Epidemiology from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. Dickens has recently completed a Fogarty Global Health Fellowship in clinical research awarded by the National Instituites of Health (NIH) through the Nothern Pacific Global Health Consortium. He is involved in collaborative studies with the US Centers for Disease Control (CDC, Kenya) focussing on maternal and child health. His extensive experience as a medical doctor, public health director, and highly productive researcher enables him to conduct research with potential for application in public health policy and practice.
