Ashish Srivastava heads the AI & Digital lab for CSTEP, a technology-and-policy think tank, headquartered in Bengaluru. He has had an intense career in the IT industry, managing diverse international businesses and leading several cutting-edge technology initiatives. His strength lies in developing complex solutions for large scale adoption.
He is passionate about exploiting the technology for society and likes to create solutions for last-mile social impact. In partnership with government and non-government agencies, he is currently busy creating and deploying high-impact digital solutions in social areas like health, child welfare, urban governance, and defence.
Ashish believes in "systems thinking" and "inclusive" approach to solutions. The community members and the field functionaries are as much an integral part of his solution designs as are the senior officials and technocrats. As a working committee member, he has also contributed to the Data Strategy of Smart Cities for the Government of India.
Ashish has done his B.Tech from IIT (BHU) and Masters in Digital Society from IIIT (Bengaluru). He also holds a post-graduate certification in Economics from the University of London.
