Jillian is a physical therapist with nearly 20 years of experience in patient care, clinic development, management, and consulting within the fields of oncology, orthopedics, pediatrics, ergonomics, and corporate health. She studied biochemistry and business management at the University of Texas at Austin and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Sciences and a Master's degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Texas Medical Branch in 2001.
Jillian’s early-career clinical specialties were within orthopedic and pediatric physical therapy interventions, focusing on complex, limb-salvage rehabilitation programs and spinal dysfunction. She later merged her clinical experience with business interests to support program development, clinic start-ups, and management initiatives within the corporate healthcare industry. Currently, Jillian is a business owner and consultant within the oncology industry to drive implementation and optimization of survivorship services and cancer rehabilitation programs. She is also focused on data outcomes accumulation and management initiatives within national healthcare organizations.
Jillian maintains her passion in clinical care through her role as an educator within the Survivorship Solutions’ Virtual Learning Academy, and contributes to guest podcasts and various writing projects focused on oncology rehabilitation and survivorship. She participates and supports the American Physical Therapy Association, Academy of Oncologic Physical Therapy, and is a member of the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine's Integrative Cancer Rehabilitation Task Force. She also participates and contributes regularly within the entrepreneur and small-business community of the Chicago-land area.
